I wanted to drop you a line and let you know we really enjoyed ourselves last weekend, you have made great headway with the club. My wife was much more at ease and relaxed (and she sets the tone for the night (for me at least)) so making her comfortable is my highest priority.
I have been in this lifestyle in the past but this is my wife's first exposure to this and she is enjoying herself, but gets a little nervous when it comes to meeting people and being outgoing (especially in this environment). So it is important to go to a place that she is comfortable with and can relax and be herself. We have been going to Inequity and we both really like it but it is so damn expensive it can't be a regular hangout. We will definitely be back to the Velvet Curtain and are looking forward to meeting more like minded people. On a side note thank you for the conversation, its rare in today's world to be able to actually hold a conversation with someone who actually knows and understands the topics they are speaking about. Most people spew off random rhetoric they hear from friends or get off the internet and pass it off as their own. It was a refreshing change to the norm... (From an SDC Member) We had an awesome time last weekend and can't wait until the next time we get to go! It was a mixed crowd, both in age and size, so definitely something for all tastes. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. The staff is very accommodating, and the owner is very nice and approachable. They will make sure you feel welcomed. We would have given the club a 10 rating, but there are some changes coming that will boost the score. We hear that they are working on a patio area. They have installed a smoke eater, and it helps with the smokiness from most clubs.. The carpet is down and decorations are up, along with a stripper pole on the dance floor. Give the club a shot! Or, if you have been in the past, try them again! |
